I decided to model my family’s cabin because it is a place that I love to go. Most of my friends are unable to go with me, so the model is a good way for them to get some level of understanding for why I like going there so much.

When designing this world, I wanted to create a secluded, sort of eerie feeling. I added a transition from night to day in order to create a sense of how the lighting changes. It always rains in the model, and that’s because most of the time I spend at my cabin it seems to be raining. One of my favorite parts of going to that place is the loons which live near by, because of the strange and beautiful calls they make throughout both day and night.
