The Colonization of the Moon

Earth. The world we were born into, the world that housed us, the world that we are destroying. Its child, the moon, so empty and plain. Will it be as welcoming as our former earth? Can we thrive there when earth is no more? We had better. Destroying ourselves is imminent. Where can we go? The moon. There we may find the shelter we need. Lacking the necessary resources for life, we must create our own.

‘The colonization of the Moon’ shows what life on the moon would consist of. A fight for resources, and a limited environment. As a closed off world, we would be imprisoned, and the only view beyond the desert of rock and ice and the sea of repeating stars, is the harsh reality of the world no longer inhabitable by us.
