Required Materials for this course. Please plan to purchase all items before the first studio section, March 20. Bring your laptop with Live Lite installed to class with you.

Audio Culture: readings in modern music, edited by Christoph Cox and Daniel Warner, published by Continuum Books. Available at RPI Union Bookstore.
Either a Fast Track USB audio interface or an M-Audio KeyRug 25 USB midi keyboard, both of which come with Ableton Live Lite software. Available at Campus Computer Store.
• Closed ear headphones like the Sony MDR-XD200 or the AKG K44 models. Available anywhere, should cost $20-$25.
