Required Materials for this course. Please plan to purchase all items before the first studio section, September 3. Bring your laptop with ProTools installed, your Mbox 2 Mini, and your headphones to class with you.

Audio Culture: readings in modern music, edited by Christoph Cox and Daniel Warner, published by Continuum Books. Available at RPI Union Bookstore.
ProTools LE with Mbox 2 Mini, available at Campus Computer Store $166.
• Closed ear headphones like the Sony MDR-XD200 or the Sennheiser HD201 or the Audio-Technica ATH-M20 models. Available anywhere, should cost $20-$25.
