From fine art and music to experimental video and animation, undergraduate students in the Arts have the opportunity to express themselves with a variety of media. Select from several concentrations within the BS EART degree to suit your interests: Visual Arts & Animation; Computer Music & Sound Art; Video and Emerging Media; Art, Technology & Culture. Or, you may wish to pursue the BS degree in Music, which focuses on preparing musicians for careers in creative professions combining depth in music with breadth in the sciences, media, and engineering.
The Arts Departments is a partner in several other cutting-edge majors at Rensselaer, such as Electronic Media, Arts and Communication; Information Technology; and Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences. Even if you're not an Arts major, you can still exercise your creativity with one of our Arts minor programs.

Olshefski’s intimate style emphasizes the beautiful complexity of relationships, and how an American family goes about healing and persevering. The film premiered at the 2017 Sundance Festival.
