Times Union selects DRIP Festival as "Pick of the Week"

The Times Union has selected iEAR's presentation of the DRIP Film and Video Festival on Wed., September 5 at 7:30pm at RPI's West Hall Auditorium as one of its "Picks of the Week"! DRIP is a one-hour assortment of video, animation and film works by college students from around the country, including Jordan Quellman and Laura Kaplan of RPI.  Curated by Steve Seid of the Pacific Film Archive, the program features works from 21 students artists, and the works range from 38 seconds to six and a half minutes in length.  The event is free and open to the public.  For more info go to www.arts.rpi.edu or call 518-276-4829.

Join us for a screening and discussion of the riveting documentary chronicling the struggles of a group of black and Latino whistleblower cops and the young minorities they are pressured to arrest and summons in New York City.

A workshop “Storytelling at the Margins,” with the film’s director/producer/cinematographer/editor Stephen Maing, will precede the screening from 4-6pm.
