We are very excited to announce the Society for a Subliminal State's first
annual members party, on no other day than March 4th.
March Fourth my friend onto the Subliminal State at Exile in Long Island City, a Tammany Hall facsimile. Not a member? Fear not! You can join at the door in some unmentionable ritualistic (or slightly so) way.
The March Fourth members party will begin with a members potluck at 7:30 PM. Here we will get updates on subliminal info from the lips of members mouths while they eat the delicious food that we will all bring. We will also have a cheap cash bar with a drink menu designed for the party. At the conclusion of dinner, Carrie will guide us on a trip to the subliminal state. Then we will sing some shape note tunes from the summer subliminal history tour. And we are so happy to have musical performances by four of our illustrious members: Nina Katchadourian and Hannah Marcus and Brute Force and Daughter of Force.
March fourth will also be the release of the third issue of the Society's newsletter Subliminal Statements: Differentiated Bodies.
Please RSVP! We hope you can make it. And do bring interested parties.
XO, Carrie and Jesse
Just remember: Subliminal State is in Exile on March Fourth.
