Joe Reinsel is presently working as Artist in Residence at Harvestworks Digital Media Center. His project is an audio/video performance piece called "Loose Tessellations" and is being constructed using Cycling 74's MAX/MSP software and NN's NATO video Max objects. The piece is a live solo audio/video performance and consists of juxtaposing imagery and sound, synthesizing these elements into new hybrid forms. Joe uses audio and video samples taken from nature, current media, and urban decay (both self-recorded and appropriated material). "Loose Tessellations" will premiere this winter in New York City.
