GSAS Students Featured at Albany Tech Expo May 22

Work by students in the Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences (GSAS) program took center stage at the Albany Tech Expo in the Legislative Office Building in downtown Albany on May 22.  Organized by State Sen. Martin Golden, chair of the Science, Technology, Incubation And Entrepreneurship Committee, the Expo featured local video game firms and other technology companies, along with representatives from university programs. Sen. Golden is a supporter of the tech and gaming industry in the Capitol Region.

Join us for a screening and discussion of the riveting documentary chronicling the struggles of a group of black and Latino whistleblower cops and the young minorities they are pressured to arrest and summons in New York City.

A workshop “Storytelling at the Margins,” with the film’s director/producer/cinematographer/editor Stephen Maing, will precede the screening from 4-6pm.
