and NYC artists LoVid/Ignivomous are co-producers of HYPERPLACE TROY, a two-day arts festival in Troy September 25–26. The festival also features perfomances by Arts Professor Michael Century
and STS gradiuate student Ellen K. Foster,
and a show at Argyle Gallery

For the festival, LoVid/Ignivomous collaborated on a locative cinema app called iParade that creates a real-time past, present and future Troy. The hour-long iParade event is free, but please bring your own charged smartphone or other similar GPS-enabled device and headphones to access the event.
Hyperplace Troy is a collaboration with support from the Rensselaer County Historical Society, Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, The Arts Center of the Capital Region, Tech Valley Game Space, Argyle Gallery, and Wave Farm/WGXC.

Friday, September 25
5:00-6:00pm - LoVid’s iParade - Meet at College and 13th St. Troy, NY (Repeats at 3:00 pm Saturday 9/26)
The event is free but please bring your own charged smartphone or other similar GPS-enabled device and headphones to access the iParade. If you don’t have one, arrangements will be made for you to share, but bringing your own will enhance your experience. The presentation will be led by the artists.
