Arts PhD candidate Andrea Williams and NYC artists LoVid/Ignivomous are co-producers of HYPERPLACE TROY, a two-day arts festival in Troy September 25–26. The festival also features perfomances by Arts Professor Michael Century and STS gradiuate student Ellen K. Foster, and a show at Argyle Gallery by Arts PhD candidate Matt O'Hare.

For the festival, LoVid/Ignivomous collaborated on a locative cinema app called iParade that creates a real-time past, present and future Troy.  The hour-long iParade event is free, but please bring your own charged smartphone or other similar GPS-enabled device and headphones to access the event.

Hyperplace Troy is a collaboration with support from the Rensselaer County Historical Society, Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, The Arts Center of the Capital Region, Tech Valley Game Space, Argyle Gallery, and Wave Farm/WGXC.
