Arts Grad Student Heather Dewey-Hagborg Featured in Daily News for 3-D rendering of faces
Date posted: 2013-06-28 08:54:01Heather Dewey-Hagborg is an information artist whose most recent project, "Stranger Visions," seeks to make 3D renderings from discarded DNA found on the streets of New York.
The “Stranger Visions” project uses DNA tracking to create crude mock-ups of faces from the objects people leave behind. Dewey-Hagborg works out of a community lab on Flatbush Ave.
