ARTS faculty Jefferson Kielwagen has received an award for his short film, GEDE VIZYON, at the Horn Festival in Jerusalem. The film was shot last year during the Ghetto Biennale of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in collaboration with Brazilian artist Marcos Serafim and Haitian artists Jean Daniel Lafontant, Steevens Simeon and Evelyne Thelus.
The Horn Festival, held at the Musrara School of Arts, is dedicated to experimental cinema. The jury, composed of Ori Levin and Ohad Landesman, awarded GEDE VIZYON with the second place in the competition. Mazeltov!
