MFA Students Collaborate in "Sculpted Guardian Illumined" at ILLUMINUS Boston 2014

On Saturday, Oct 25th, MFA Graduate students Jeremy Stewart and david allen will collaborate with a diverse team of regional artists to produce Sculpted Guardian Illumined at the first annual ILLUMINUS Boston Festival 2014. Sculpted Guardian Illumined is a multimedia performance which deconstructs iconic sculptures, and will feature HARLEQUIN, a technology which won Most Creative Hack during MIT Hacking Arts 2014 on October 5th —

The Sculpted Guardian Illumined team includes creative director Pampi thirdeyefell, producer Loreto P. Ansaldo, technical director david allen, puppeteer Dey Hernández of Papel Machete, video artist Rose Maison, interactivity programmer Jeremy Stewart, sound artist Sundog, developer Nicholas Platt, developer Emily Xie, data scientist Tae Kim, and performance artists: Terina-Jasmine Alladin and Gabriela Silva, co-founders of Costasis Art Collective; Chien-Hwe, founder and director of 1000 virtues dance; Iris Cutler of East Meets West Bookstore; Akili Jamal Haynes of World of Chibuzo; Eduardo Restrepo Castaño; and International kite flying champ and projected parasol rollerskater Wadson Michel.
