Professor Ade Knowles: Artist in Residency at Schoharie Colonial Heritage

Professor Ade Knowles is scheduled to begin a week-long Artist in Residency on August 11, 2014, at the Schoharie Colonial Heritage Association’s Summer Cultural Arts Program for youth. The project theme is: “Rhythms of Africa and the Talking Drums.”  On, Saturday, August 16th, at 7:00 pm, members of Ensemble Congeros will join Ade and the program’s students in a joint performance at an outdoor pavilion located behind the Schoharie United Presbyterian Church at 314 Main Street, in the village of Schoharie, New York.
