What is Deep Listening? Experience it for yourself, as the Center for Deep Listening at Rensselaer presents "A Day of Deep Listening" on Friday, May 6, at EMPAC Studio 2.
Workshops in the technique of Deep Listening, as pioneered by legendary modern classical composer Pauline Oliveros, begin at 10:00 am and continue all day until 5:00 pm. This practice explores the meditative dimensions of musical output, but non-musicians may also find that it opens new channels of creativity.
The workshops are free and open to the RPI community.
