"Listening In(to) Relational Becoming" with Suzanne Thorpe

Suzanne Thorpe will give a talk entitled: “Listening In(to) Relational Becoming," as part of the Arts Graduate Colloquium.

Event Details

This talk discusses the exciting new opportunities for educational exchange for Games students at GSAS at Rensselaer, and students studying games at University of Skövde in Sweden. The talk will provide inspiration for students to seek international experiences as an essential part of their education and future careers, also providing an overview of the Swedish games industry, and academic-industry collaborations and links such as the incubator Sweden Game Arena. This talk will also provide inspiration to Games faculty for ways that international collaborations can be structured, including a reflection on the University of Skövde and Worcester Polytechnic Institute “Global Game Classroom” initiative.
