Chung Kim is a digital media artist and a multimedia designer/producer. He has a passion for creating new digital media and technology-based interactive design, and he always experiments with new media and technology to visualize creative ideas and new art forms. During graduate school at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he studied in an interdisciplinary and technological art environment.
CK was the production coordinator for multimedia and interactive graphic design of the Multimedia Service Division at RPI. He has served as the project leader of distributed education courses, interactive projects, graphic/web design and DV/animation. Both his 3d installation work, Afterimages, and a digital video work, Nature in Mind, were exhibited at Siggraph (2003).
CK is now working at Partners Healthcare in Boston, MA, and he is running the department of Partners Digital Media of the Partners Healthcare to support Harvard Medical hospitals and the organization. His projects include video production/post-production, Digital Media, Multimedia and the streaming technology.
Boryana Rossa (Ph.D. candidate) and Oleg Mavromatti's work included in selection of 100 video works.
